Creekside cottage with charm.

The Howards Creek Cottages at The Greenbrier Sporting Club were developed initially as 4 model home plans.  These homes were then customized for each lot, and utilized a successful Construction Management approach with a great contractor partner.  Each house had to be different from its neighbor, so exterior materials were often tweaked, along with exterior colors.  In addition, the clients often had requests to change or update the plans to suit their individual visions and desires.

As an architect and project manager, I worked with the original architects, the CM, and the Client; eventually in my own firm I transitioned to working directly with the CM and clients.

This creekside cottage is full of charm and ideally suited for those looking to be in close proximity to The Greenbrier. There are peaceful views overlooking Howard’s Creek to the mountains beyond, and fly fishing from the creek access at this expansive backyard. Gracious living and fine architectural details, including board & batten siding, copper accents, native stonework and oak flooring, make this retreat an idyllic setting for leisure getaways.
